Bright Star PC is a registered computer company, based in Amberley, North Canterbury. The company is owned and operated by Mother and Son, Karen and Stephen Carr.

Stephen started the company back in January of 2005, after receiving a lot of help and persistance from Paula McDonald, his 5th form Accounting teacher, who was part of the Outside The Square (OTS) group, run in conjunction with Trade & Enterprise North Canterbury and Canterbury Development Corporation (CDC), which ran workshops with schools around North Canterbury encouraging Youth Enterprise.
